YRP Online Art Gallery 2011

The Yellow Ribbon Online Art Gallery consist of the artworks created by the inmates while serving time. Through art, inmates express their inner thoughts and feelings to their family members and community at large while at the same time, showcase their artistic talents.

Community Art Exhibition (CAE)

The Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition provides a platform for inmates and ex-offenders to express their hopes and aspirations through art, showcase their artistic talents, foster closer family relationships and reach out to the community. The focus this year is on how the CARE Network, through the Yellow Ribbon Project, has given them the opportunity to RestART their lives. Hence, the creative theme revolves around REsilience, Self-Awareness, Transformation, Adaptability and Reintegration into The community.

This event illuminates the tribulation and struggles of the inmates in hoping to return to the society and the arduous journey towards rehabilitation and acceptance by the public and their family. And all these promise to elevate the apparently banal, revealing every aspects and dimensions of the life of ex-offenders.
